the landmarks
in out life
seem to disappear.
And everything,
in the distance
becomes hazy and
out of focus.
A barren landscape
leading nowhere?
Or maybe
a subtler beauty, breath-taking,
like a lovely painting.
Walk on,
the light will break.
Take the beauty
with you.
